The Finsbury Distilling Company, like other distillers, had to build a retail network,
which included a Joseph Stone, grocer of High Holborn. An important customer of the distillers,
his name was given to their Ginger Wine.
Made then, as it is today, from the finest quality raisins and pure ground ginger, Stone's
Ginger Wine quickly became the flagship of The Finsbury Distilling Company's British wines division.
