7th - 14th August 2004
Cowes, Isle of Wight
Skandia Cowes Week is growing in international status as a 'must do' event as organisers actively encourage greater participation from other countries. Cowes Week is the longest-running, largest and most prestigious annual sailing Regatta in the World. It first took place in 1826 and has been held in August every year since then (the only exception being during the two World Wars). This famous Regatta has been part of the British Summer social calendar for many years.
Many thousands of non-sailing visitors come to Cowes each August to enjoy the unique atmosphere that is Cowes Week. There's a fabulous festival atmosphere with street entertainers and music, and don't forget the spectacular fireworks display which, in 2004, takes place on Friday 13th August.
There will be no better way to enjoy the festivities at this prestigious event than with a Stone’s cocktail. Either ask one of our samplers for a Stone’s Lemonade Cup or visit us at our stand where there will be a seating area to relax and enjoy Stone’s.
